Batz' s Guided Tour

Batz is a Channel island just off Roscoff. A marvellous 5 km fairway linking the Abers Coast to Morlaix Bay separates it from the Continent, making it one of Brittany's most prestigious nautical sites.
The Isle has 600 inhabitants, with all traditional shops and facilities, and enjoys a renowned micro climate as shown by many exotic plants. Cultivation of new vegetables, half of which is biological, fishing, seaweed gathering and tourism are the islanders' main resources.
The Isle of Batz lives to the pace of the tides, easy to discover, by foot or biking along the footpaths through dunes, over rocks and beaches... let yourself soak up the magic feeling of the place.
